PREPARE pasta according to package directions, set aside. During last 3 minutes of cook time add peas to pasta and water. Drain all and set aside.
HEAT large skillet over medium-high heat; cook bacon until crispy. Once bacon has crisped, add breadcrumbs to pan and stir to evenly coat in bacon fat. Cook until breadcrumbs are lightly toasted, about 2-3 minutes. Set bacon-breadcrumb mixture aside to cool slightly.
ADD alfredo sauce to skillet and warm over medium heat, then add tortellini and peas and stir to coat evenly.
To serve, spoon tortellini into a serving bowl and top with bacon breadcrumb mixture. If using, top with chopped fresh parsley.
